BI 425 - Bioinformatic Computing This course is designed to provide students the fundamentals of the popular Linux operating systems that are widely used in modern bioinformatics research. A variety of topics including file and system management, text editors, and other applications will be introduced, along with fundamentals of Perl programming language. This course will be taught as a combination of lecture and extensive hands-on exercises.
